We are going to go through a 3 part series on, "How To Make The Money You Want."

Part 1

For the beginner entrepreneur that has possibly just started online and is wanting to know how to actually make money online; there are some necessary steps that should be taken to make sure that you do find the success that you want.

First of all there is no such thing as "LUCK" when it comes to being successful. Being successful requires consistent actions toward your goals.

Where to Start

Situations can and will differ from individual to individual but chances are you need an offer to market, right?  If this is you and you have not chosen a product to market, be careful with this one.  There are many great offers online and some really great affiliate programs but you must do your due diligence and find them.  Side Note: I would be happy to share some good ones with you if you send me your information. You want to find an offer where the results are real and can be proven to you through sales pages, real factual numbers that are in real time, and through communication.  If the offer is legit and real, you will be able to contact the sponsor and owner of the affiliate program and speak with them personally.  If they are legit, they will help you grow so they grow also.  (If you never hear from the sponsor or person in charge, run!)

What Next?

Well, you need to make sure you attend training and are aware of the program and products that you are marketing.  I would suggest buying the product that you are going to market.  Without buying the product that you are going to market, how can you honestly sell the product and believe in what you are selling?  YOU CAN"T!  This is where a lot of marketers go wrong.  They just don't have the answers that prospects or leads need because they have no idea what the features are of the products they are selling.  Common sense, right?

Mentorship. What exactly is is?

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary online; a mentor is someone that you take counsel or guidance in. Someone that you trust to guide you in your business. Therefore mentorship is being guided by a trusted individual towards success and goals that have been made for the purpose of conquering and being successful.

More times than I can count, I get the question: "Do I really need a mentor?" I asked this question to myself when I started in the online marketing world too. People ask this question for a couple of reasons.

1) The first reason is they don't want to pay for this mentorship, which can be crazy in price! Seriously! People starting a new business or are wanting guidance, usually they are not wanting to spend a fortune on someone telling them what to do. This is because they just don't have the funds to pay for this and try to build a solid foundation in their business and/or they don't know and trust the "mentor" enough to pay for their services because of the fear of being ripped off. Both are true and legitimate reasons!

2) A second reason is that some people have the personality and attitude that they can do it themselves and do not need anyone to help them. I can say that, yes, some people in some businesses can become very successful by themselves. BUT.... This does not happen very often.

Finding a mentor is a very smart, if not the smartest move, that someone can make when starting online marketing (or any other business for that matter.)

So what should someone look for in a mentor?

1) Success. If a mentor is going to guide someone toward success, they should be successful. (Don't you agree with me)

2) Dedication. Some people are so busy, they say they can and will mentor you to success but you can never get in contact with them. If this is the case, I suggest finding a new mentor. A true mentor will be there for you when you need them.

So... The question comes to me many times: "Where can I find these qualities without paying a fortune?"
That is a GREAT question!

The greatest mentorship that I have had and that has helped me personally get my business off of the ground and bringing in money has been group led. I have a personal mentor, don't get me wrong, but I also have a support group of literally dozens of experts and mind you (successful experts) in the field of online marketing that I have access to daily if I want it.

company won't allow any website- outside

Shannon,

Fantastic questions and by no means are
you dead in the water. You just have to
think a little bit differently about how
you introduce people to your
opportunity.

In all honesty, just sending people to
your companies website to learn about
your product line isn't going to win you
many sales anyway, so it's really more
of an non issue than you may think.

I've said it before and I'll say it
again. People don't join opportunities,
they join people.

Therefore nothing that you do on the
front end of your business even needs to
ever mention your company. Let me
explain . . .

Your best prospects will always be the
doers like you. The people striving for
success.

What do doers look for?

Information and guidance.

This is all your business on the front
end should provide. People will join you
because they "know" and you've proven
you can help them, not because your moon
juice is cooler than the next companies.

So on the front end, do what I do.

Create your own newsletter. Your own
lead capture page. Communicate daily.

If you get adventurous create a front
end product that solves on of your
prospects major concerns.

1. Getting more leads 2. Making more
money 3. Recruiting without rejection

Allow them to purchase it from you and
then . . .

Once all your marketing costs are paid
for by your profits, on the back-end
give you your customers a call.

Ask how you can be of further service,
naturally they'll be inquisitive as to
what else you're up to.

There, right there, is the time you
bring up your back end company.

You may say, but "Daegan I can't create
a product."

I have two answers for you.

Yes you can and you don't even need a
product to recruit online. It just makes
it easier.

Even if you were just to create your own
list online. Share stories and marketing
strategies daily, and as a call to
action at the end of your message you
said something like:

"If you'd like some personal help give
me a call between 4pm and 8pm tonight at
XXX-XXXX I'll be in the office to help"

You'll have people ringing your phone
off the hook all day and night. Trust me
on that one.

methodology? Well, that's exactly why
you're in no way shape or form dead in
the water.

Maybe your just starting out in the marketing arena and are wondering what in the world are cold markets and warm markets?  This may shed a little light.

Banner advertising is one of the oldest forms of Internet advertising. The advantages of this method of advertising for the site were most evident in the early era of Internet advertising. The first banner ad campaigns were quite primitive - simple manual exchange of non-standardized advertising images with links between webmasters.

After some time, there have formed standard sizes for banners:

Banner 468 x 60 - big stretch, it is one of the oldest and most popular types of banners. These banners are supported by all banner exchange networks. The largest and most visible type of banner, allowing not only to attract attention and interest to the user, but also to convey sufficient information about the advertised site.

Banner 100 x 100 - "square banner." Became popular as an option for placing a banner in the website navigation bars, but eventually got the status of the standard. Not supported by all banner exchange networks, but is quite popular with manual banner exchange.

Small banner 88 x 31 - "button" – this banner exchange is very limited in supported exchange networks, particularly by large, but has become almost standard "de facto" in the exchange of banners and links.

Banner 120 x 60 - "small banner" - not available to all banner exchange networks, but they are quite common in the direct sale of advertising space on websites.

Banner 234 x 60 - "half a large stretching." Situation is similar to the banner 120 by 60.

"The eye" is the banner of arbitrary shape with navigation elements.

These standards remain relevant today. With this standardization occurred the opportunity to build the most effective banner exchange network. Banner exchange networks have emerged as a logical consequence of the desire to simplify the webmaster banner exchange to "cross" advertise their resources. As a result, there has been created several mechanisms for the exchange standard of banners, acting on a "show other people's banners on your site and we will show on your other sites." Thus the profit banner networks formed and are composed of a certain percentage of impressions (usually from 10 to 30), which are allocated to the impressions of commercial (paid) banners, raised a banner network.

The first banner ads did not have any opportunities to target - show "all and for all." However, in view of the unemployment market efficiency such advertising was high enough. The main indicator of the effectiveness of banner - CTR (ratio of impressions to clicks the user) was from 2 to 10 or even more percent. For comparison - in the current banner networks is considered a good indicator of CTR at 1 percent. Naturally, together with the growth of the market changed and banner ads, adapting to the requirements of advertising specialists. Today's networks have extensive opportunities to target, often narrow specialization, as well as highly customizable displays. There is an opportunity to choose not only the desired theme sites, where you would like to see your banner, but their geography, display time, the type of operating system user, etc. All this has allowed banner networks to remain competitive enough.

Nevertheless, many experts prefer to manually ad paid banner placement on the resources that are considered promising in terms of getting targeted traffic. This method has both advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage - theoretically much greater efficiency than in the case of banner exchange networks and there is no need to allocate site locations

If in the case of banner exchange costs are practically zero (excluding the cost of manufacture of the banner) in the case of purchase displays in the network are measured in units of dollars per 1,000 impressions, in case of direct purchase banner space for the costs can be ten times more and not be measured in clicks or shows, and in time intervals. For example, $ 30 per day or $ 200 a month. However it is possible to return the money at the apparent failure of the campaign is not possible.

On the other hand, manual tracking and placement of banners can provide a higher CTR, but some sites allow and pay "per click", whereby you only pay for visitors. You can call this method of advertising the most effective of all methods of banner advertising. True, it requires an order of magnitude larger budget than the use of banner exchange networks and redemption shows through them.

Email marketing is used for big and small business’s alike.  It has been proven as a successful way to market any product/ service online. Email marketing drives traffic to your website or website of choice. It is targeted to access potential customers. It is a unique yet easy way to access the target audiences and to bring potential visitors to your website.

Email marketing is used for follow-up in which businesses can generate revenue. Also it can help building contacts and links which are of primary importance for running any online business. Email marketing is not complex but it requires few techniques and rules. It is therefore necessary to identify the needs and requirements of email marketing before one actually involves in it.

Below are some guidelines to email marketing which can produce desired results.

· Business seems complex and marketing products/ services are more complex. By keeping things simple business personnel can lead  their own pathway. It is necessary to understand the complexities of marketing. Also identify the needs of a business and taking possible steps is a key to venture.

· Email marketing needs a clear path  way ahead. Recently the legalities were changed regarding search engines. It is vital to understand the legalities and issues regarding email marketing.  Do your research.

· Develop your mailing list. It is crucial to seize market which can help a business to flourish. On the splash page include the capture on top fold. Name this location as “above the fold”. This has to be placed with strategic importance.

· It is important to know that traditional popups are banned. Today “popunders” are used by using Javascript. Although it is a pop up box, Google do not recognizes it as a pop up. “House banners” are also used instead of popunders.

. Newsletters are also promoted through email marketing. Email marketing involves 2 parties. The sender and the receiver.  In order to promote a newsletter create content which is appealing and unique.

· Take advantage and do your homework to find a good email marketing company to be a part of.  The tracking of emails is an important activity to judge the company from.  I personally recommed Aweber.

· ASP and ISP solutions are available (combined) which helps enhancing delivery

· Test the email service and check your campaigns. Email marketing is relatively different from traditional marketing tactics. Consider using tools to enhance the delivery and tracking of emails.

How to write an effective email?

Well-organized and well-written email enhances readilbility. The recipient is directly targeted in email marketing. Formatting is another key ingredient to encourage recipient to read. Affiliate marketers, for example, are dependent upon email marketing. A marketer reads, opens and acts accordingly. So, email must be clear, easy to read yet professionally written.

QUICK TIPS TO MEMORIZE:

· Email’s subject is of utmost importance. Write a compelling subject which may likely attract the reader. The purpose of the subject is to get the target to open your email.

· Make your subject line personalized by adding the name of a recipient in the beginning. Use words which appears enticing.

Email marketing is an effective way to reach recipients and target audiences. It is a tool which has become an essential element of marketing any product/ service.
